Conozcan nuestro equipo!
Carlos is a social entrepreneur and native of Oaxaca. He is committed to sharing the beautiful, culturally rich and diverse state of Oaxaca. Our weekly community meetings are his favorite days of the week – giving him a chance to escape from the city and catch-up with the women in the program.
Viviana is from Mexico City but she moved to Oaxaca in 2003. Since 2004, she has collaborated with non-profit organizations, where she acquired experience in community development and institutional strengthening. She shares En Vía's values and appreciates the opportunity to work with the team in promoting empowerment through microfinance and business education. Her goal is to strengthen and expand En Vía's programs in order to achieve a wider and more profound impact.
Yanet is originally from Teotitlán del Valle. She started her first business 7 years ago thanks to an En Vía loan. Participating in En Vía was a marvelous experience that inspired Yanet to get more involved in the program. Yanet is thrilled to have this opportunity to work with En Vía as a way to support the women in her community.
Mariana is originally from Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. She specializes in human rights, immigration and community projects. Her goal is to contribute to a more just world, by working collectively to provide opportunities for all, creating spaces to promote diversity, inclusion, dialogue and respect for everyone. She enjoys her new Oaxacan lifestyle and the everyday juxtaposition of cultural differences between northern and southern Mexico, which makes for a great experience working with En Vía.
Eda grew up in Durham, England, where she studied languages: French, German and Spanish. After working in Paris, Berlin and London, Eda ventured to Latin America to pursue her dream of working in the nonprofit world. Her role with En Vía gives her the opportunity to live this dream and focus on what she feels most passionate about - communications, women empowerment and social development.
Rocio is from our partner community San Miguel del Valle. Since her mother was participating in En Vía’s loan program, Rocio decided to get more involved. She now works with En Vía half time while she is pursuing a degree in administration at MKN University here in Oaxaca. Rocio is thankful for this opportunity to learn more about the needs of women in her community and to be part of helping these women as they work to move themselves forward.
