Beatriz is a dedicated local farmer in San Sebastián Abasolo and has been part of the program for 14 years. She raises cows and sheep, selling her sheep and producing fresh, flavorful cheese from her cows’ milk. In addition to her livestock, she cultivates frijoles (beans) and garlic, offering a variety of homegrown agricultural products to her community. Beatriz uses her En Vía loans to invest in the care and feeding of her animals, as well as in seeds and supplies for her crops, helping her grow and sustain her farm year after year.
