TRAVEL THAT STRENGTHENS COMMUNITIES.
Experience Community-Based Tourism That Invests in Women.
At Fundación En Vía, tourism is more than a way to explore Oaxaca—it's a tool for creating economic opportunity.
Our experiences are hosted by women entrepreneurs who are growing businesses, supporting their families, and investing in their communities. Through shared meals, traditional crafts, and personal conversations, visitors gain insight into everyday life while directly supporting women-led enterprises.
Every experience helps generate income, visibility, and new opportunities for the women who welcome travelers into their homes and communities.

TRAVElLER MICROFINANCE TOUR APRIL 2026
The women were very impressive and generous with their time. There are many tours to historic sites outside of Oaxaca, which are great, but this tour was about the present. It was informative, inspiring, and a wonderful day. Highly recommend!
TRAVELLER MICROFINANCE TOUR MARCH 2026
This was a rare and welcome glimpse into the lives and work of enterprising women in Oaxaca. It was a privilege to go into their homes and work areas and see how they live and are using micro loans to expand their small, local businesses. Truly inspiring.
Give women a little bit of money and they can change the world!
The translator and the guide were terrific, dedicated, and caring. I have already recommended this tour to others headed to Oaxaca.

TRAVELLER MICROFINANCE TOUR APRIL 2026
It was eye-opening, educational and inspiring. Learning about and seeing micro finance (a concept about which I had only read) operate on an intimate level brought it to life for me as well. Seeing these women build and gain self-sufficiency was beautiful to witness.
TRAVELLER MICROFINANCE TOUR MARCH 2026
We visited incredibly talented, creative women entrepreneurs ~ weavers, restaurant owners, a weaver who has added an Airbnb guest room to their family farm/compound, a barber (my grandson was so impressed, he allowed her to cut his hair!), a teacher turned garlic farmer who is now packaging and marketing her garlic products.
All were successful, impressive women business-owners assisted by En Via whose interest-free loan paradigm is innovative ~ empowering women to become self-reliant.
