Flor is a member of En Vía’s group Yuu Shtiash, which began through our Growing Strong program. This initiative taught women in San Sebastián Abasalo how to cultivate and harvest garlic and transform it into market-ready products. Before joining the group, Flor worked as both a crop farmer and a chicken farmer. Now, with En Vía, she uses her skills to create garlic confit, garlic salts, infused oils, and more, bringing the rich flavors of Abasolo’s harvest to her community and beyond. The products are sold in the women's stores and, most recently, at our 2025 Feria de Mujer Emprendora (Female Entrepreneurs Fair).
