María learned to sew from her mother and has carried on the tradition by opening her own store, Bordados y Costuras Mi Herencia. She designs traditional garments worn by women in San Miguel del Valle and other Oaxacan communities, including mandiles (aprons) and dresses. Her signature symbol, the peacock, is woven on the bottom of her design, hidden within the flowers. María creates garments for all occasions, from festive holidays like Christmas to personalized pieces tailored to your style.
