After Brenda and her husband started making carpets to sell within their community, Brenda was motivated to leave her low-paying job. This allowed her to focus full-time on her craft, and she began experimenting with different types of yarn and dyes. What she loves most about weaving carpets is being able to bring her original designs to life. She also deeply enjoys using natural pigments, such as pomegranate, indigo, and cochineal.
