Driven by her family's poultry-raising roots and a personal mission for better nutrition, Cristy turned a devastating loss into a thriving business. After losing her mother to stomach cancer, she became determined to produce high-quality, ethically raised proteins free from industrial stress. Though she initially struggled by losing half of her first 50 chickens to disease, joining EnVía changed everything. Through their classes, Cristy mastered vaccination, flock management, and production cycles. Today, she sustainably manages 180 chickens, uses innovative rainwater harvesting and automatic watering systems, and finances her entire eco-friendly operation directly through her egg and meat sales.
