María started her business alongside her husband after falling short on money for their children's expenses. Knowing how to do curaciones was a generational skill passed down from her great-grandmother. As for her clay products, she got the idea to incorporate them into her business after helping artisans sell them in mercados. Most of the publicity her business gets is from recommendations her clients make to other people.
