Hazme Si Puedes

Rosita Jimenez Lorenzo

Rosita is the founder of Hazme Si Puedes (Make Me If You Can), a handmade clothing and textile business based in Teotitlán del Valle. Born and raised in this community, Rosita learned to embroider from her sister at a young age, stitching flowers, mountains, and birds inspired by the nature around her. Today, she offers traditional clothing from the eight regions of Oaxaca, along with fine embroidery, weaving, and wool rugs, all handmade with care. Her pieces are dyed using natural ingredients like walnut and pomegranate shells, drawing inspiration from both the natural world and the sacred symbols of the Zapotec gods. You can find her workshop at Kilometer 1, right at the entrance of Teotitlán del Valle.
