Rufina started her business after taking the opportunity to sell in a municipal market (the town authorities had invited wool craft vendors). She joined Envia after receiving an invitation from her sisters-in-law. But her principal motivation to create her business was her ned to work and her love for weaving, which she had learned from her father. She also learned to use natural dyes from her family.
